Step out of the noise. Solve your real challenges with people who've been exactly where you are.

A small, curated retreat for marketers and founders who are done carrying it alone. Real challenges on the table. Honest feedback from people who get it. And the clarity to know exactly what to do next.

You're not the only one figuring this out

Most marketing leaders don't lack ideas. They lack a room where they can say the quiet part out loud, without managing anyone's perception of them.

That's what this retreat is. A small group of experienced marketers and founders, each bringing a real challenge to the table. Focused sessions, honest feedback and enough distance from daily noise to actually think.

Past participants have used it to finish stalled book manuscripts, rebuild a homepage that wasn't converting, or walk away with a clear pivot for their business. Much of that happens in focused problem-solving rounds, small enough that everyone contributes and no one can hide in the back of the room.

What happens during the retreat:

• Real conversations around your actual challenges
• Strategic sessions on AI, storytelling, and visibility
• Honest feedback from peers who understand your world
• Space to think, reflect, and make decisions
• A setting that naturally leads to deeper connection

A Space Designed for Focus, Not Distraction

A space designed for focus, reflection, and real conversations, away from the noise of daily work.

You’ll stay on-site in a private retreat setting surrounded by nature, where everything is set up to help you think clearly, slow down, and engage in meaningful discussions.

The glass meeting room becomes the center for deep strategic sessions. Outside, the garden and pool offer space to continue conversations more informally, with views over Sintra’s iconic landscape.

Everything is taken care of - from accommodation to meals - so you can fully focus on what matters: gaining clarity, making decisions, and moving forward.

Optional experiences like sauna, massages, or local activities are available, but the real value comes from the environment itself: calm, intimate, and designed for connection.

Built on the ideas of The Future CMO

This retreat brings the core principles of The Future CMO to life: trust as a strategy, technology as an enabler, and visibility as a craft.
You don’t have to read the book to benefit, but you’ll feel its spirit in every conversation and session.

The conversations don’t stop after Sintra

After the retreat, the group stays connected through a private WhatsApp group. It’s where ideas, updates, and small wins are shared, and where conversations can continue naturally.

For those who want to go deeper, there is also access to a broader community of marketers and founders exploring similar challenges around strategy, AI, and visibility. This is an easy way to stay connected and keep the momentum going.

Program

Where real progress happens

The core of the retreat is a series of small-group Strategy Sessions. Each participant brings a real challenge: something they’re currently working through, questioning, or trying to move forward.

In a focused and trusted setting, you’ll get direct input from experienced peers who understand your world. Not surface-level advice, but honest perspectives, new angles, and practical ideas you can act on.

Some sessions go deep on one specific challenge. Others naturally evolve into broader conversations around positioning, content, AI, or growth.

The goal is simple: you don't just talk about the problem, you leave with a next move.

Still have questions?

Below you’ll find answers to the most common ones: from participation and pricing to practical details about the retreat.
If anything remains unclear, feel free to reach out directly.
Can I join as a local from Portugal?

Yes.

You can either join as a full participant (with accommodation) or choose a local pass.

The local pass is designed for those based in or near Lisbon/Sintra who prefer to commute. It typically includes access to all sessions and lunches on Day 2 and Day 3.

Additional elements such as dinners or activities can be arranged depending on your preferences.
If you’re considering a local pass, it’s best to get in touch so we can tailor it to your situation.

Can I join with my partner or colleague?

Yes.

Rooms can be shared, and a reduced participation fee applies for the second person.

Each participant is still asked to apply individually to ensure the right group dynamic.

Who is this retreat for?

This retreat is built for founders, marketing leaders, and consultants who are used to figuring things out on their own; often as the only strategic voice in the room. If you have real challenges you can't fully talk through with your team, your clients, or your board, this is that room.

Is the retreat physically demanding?

Not in an intensive way, but it does take place in Sintra, which includes hills, stairs, and walking between locations.

Participants should be comfortable moving around in a natural environment.

Will I receive an invoice?

Yes.

All participants receive an official invoice. During registration, you’ll be asked to share your company details and VAT number (if applicable).

VAT treatment depends on your situation and location, and may still apply.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, depending on timing.

Early decision pricing is only secured with full payment.

If you prefer to reserve your spot with a deposit, this is possible at the standard rate:
• €500 for standard rooms
• €800 for superior rooms

The remaining balance can be settled in one or two installments before the retreat.

What is your cancellation policy?

All payments are non-refundable.

However, you can always send someone else in your place.

For local passes, a transfer to a future edition may be possible if requested at least one month in advance.

What is included in the price?

For full participants:
• Accommodation
• All meals
• All sessions and group activities
• Follow-up materials and shared content

Flights and transport are not included.

For local passes, inclusions depend on your selected setup. This can be tailored based on your preferences.

Is there an online version of the retreat?

No.

This is a fully in-person experience.

Some content may be recorded and shared afterwards with participants, but there is no remote participation option.
